Founders Trophy Award Winner 2022

The winner of our Founders Trophy is Lynne Menge! Lynne's seascape titled "Thalasophile" was voted best painting by our members at our year end function. Thank you to all the talented artists who entered. There was a total of 33 entries. We are grateful to our generous sponsors for the many prizes we were able to award. Italian Art shop in Rondebosch sponsored vouchers and a Gamblin oil hamper consisting of various products. ETH Canvas in Woodstock supplied canvasses, brushes and vouchers. Artland in Claremont supplied vouchers as well as a water colour tablet and a sable kolinski brush. Zellen sponsored an oil and an acrylic hamper consisting of various products. Our members were asked to bring a plate of eats to share. The committee are grateful to all members and spouses who assisted on the evening especially Samantha Harlock Moisey who calmly went about setting up the exhibits and Des Pollard who helped with photography.
